Gen Z ‘can’t budget’ as survey shows dependence on food deliveries and online shopping

Writer and Broadcaster Kel Richards says Gen Z cannot cook nor can they budget, after an iSelect survey showed people from NSW born between 1995 – 2012 could not give up food deliveries or online shopping.

According to the survey, 17 per cent of people could not give up food deliveries, and 15 per cent wouldn’t quit online shopping.

“I’m from the boomer generation, we can cook,” Mr Richards said.

“Let me tell you the truth about Gen Z, they can’t cook, and they can’t budget.”
