Product Description

It’s been two years since five times Grammy award winner Alicia Keys exploded on to the worldwide music scene with her debut album ‘Songs In A Minor’. Astonishingly accomplished, not only did ‘Songs...’ showcase Alicia’s vocal powers, it revealed her to be a fully-formed songwriter of the highest calibre. Album number two sees the good work continue and, if anything, ‘The Diary of Alicia Keys’ shows signs of further growth. Fuller, richer, more sophisticated musically and lyrically - if ‘Songs In A Minor’ was the work of a girl, the new album, ‘The Diary Of Alicia Keys’, is the work of a woman. As the title would suggest the album draws heavily on her incredible experiences of the past three years – from love songs (‘If I Ain’t Got You’ and the Gladys Knight/Notorious BIG sampling ‘If I Was Your Woman’) to relationship issues (‘Wake Up’) to politically infused songs (‘Warning’). The album was self penned, played and produced, but Alicia also brought some named guests. In addition to the vocal talents of Nas, Rakim and new artist Smitty she drew on the co-production skills of Kayne West (Jay Z), Easy Mo Bee (Notorious BIG), Scott Storch (Beyonce, Justin Timberlake) and Rich Harrison (Mary J Blige).

This is great

i love this product and i feel it will sell great. I feel that wit should go for $20s and you should also sell singles. I also feel u should sell things for under $10s because people have a $10 gift voucher but everything is over $10s thats pretty dumb.

Bad, crap

Keys has gone RIGHT OFF - her songs realy stink on this album, if you have heard her 2 latest singles from this album and you have any sense then you would agree with me.

Obviously she's a one album hit kinda artist in the sense that she probably wrote her first album through out her entire life and then when she had to make a second album she just dished out some rubbish hoping this sorry case for an album would live off her 1st album. Don't be fooled. Buy her old album if you don't have it.
