New Jersey rock quintet My Chemical Romance is comprised of singer Gerard Way, guitarist Ray Toro, bassist Mikey Way, guitarist Frank Iero, and drummer Bob Bryar, who have been writing songs for their forthcoming album since the release of the Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge.
After a month of pre-production in New York in January 2006, My Chemical Romance relocated to Los Angeles in March to finish writing the album. They began laying down tracks at Eldorado Recording Studio in April with noted producer Rob Cavallo (Green Day, Alanis Morissette) manning the control board.
Capturing the right emotions and sounds is critical for My Chemical Romance this time around, as they have grand plans for their new CD. Indeed, My Chemical Romance, known for their incendiary life-changing live performances, have already engaged fans around the world with their opening performance in New York recently at the MTV awards.
