SHE IS THE BEST !!!!!!
Well I think that Kasey has a great voice and every song that i have listened to has been absolutely brillant and bueatiful i think that she is the best country singer yet.Well i think that she is an amazing and interesting person she sings about things she cares about she is really an amazing singer. And for all those people out there who think that she just sounds like a screeching cat(cause i hear that alot) well go and listen to something else u dont have to listen to her. Well if you are a Kasey fan this soundtrack and Barricades and Brick walls are her best albums as far as i no so i would bye them if i was you. Kasey you are the best, You Rock.

If You Love Listening To Cats Screeching........
Kasey Chambers is a shocker!! Honestly, she sounds like a strangled cat. She can't sing, she can't play an instrument (at least not a real one) and, well, she can't do anything. Don't buy this album, spend your money on something worthwhile, because Kasey Chambers is hopeless.

A refreshing change
Well well well, what a great change to the mainstream singles charts to have had Kasey Chambers top it with Not Pretty Enough. The irony of it. Country music charts just cant get enough of this brilliant performer and who can blame them? Was a hard task to out-do the debut album "The Captain", yet "Barricades and Brickwalls" has done just that. With other great album tracks such as the beautifully written title track, past hits "on a bad day" and "runaway train" and who can forget "i still pray", a collaboration with Paul Kelly. Country music's brightest young star is shining her way across Australians hearts and with the new addition to her family on the way, expect some more touching, heart felt songs in the near future.
Go Kasey!! top rating for one of the best albums i've heard in ages, in all genres.

What a Voice, What a show of emotions
Kasey has managed to out do her sucess with this album. Full of deep emotions, voice and sounds. She is certainly a young australian artist on the move. She manages to bring "country" music into the new millenium, without taking anything from its grass roots. If you thought she was good in the "Dead Ringer band" and you liked "Captain" you will LOVE Barricades & Brickwalls. It has everything from deep and meaningful in "Nullarbor" to light and bouncy in "A Little Bit Lonesome". This is definately a must have CD for any person who can appreciate strong vocals and meaningful lyrics.
