The pests were not repelled

I bought this repeller for my daughter's home to allow them to open their french doors and to enjoy indoor/outdoor living with their baby and toddler. Whilst it is a quite handsome unit, unfortunately the repeller has had no noticable effect. The ants are marching in a confident convey about 2 metres from the unit and the flies, blowflies and mosquitos still prefer to brave the sound waves to spend their time in the cooler more comfortable interior environment. It may be repelling some insects but alas not the ones we hoped it would deter. So unfortunately the french doors have to remain closed.
