All the bubbles stream off and slowly open up the flower. At the end of the drink you can eat the flower; it has a delicious raspberry and rhubarb flavour.
History of the flowers:
These delightful flowers were originally conceived quite by accident!
Their spectacular crimson colour and cute crown shape inspired company founder Lee Etherington to find a way to preserve their character so they could be used as a garnish on cheese cakes and other tasty deserts.
And then it happened…One fateful evening, the adventurous guests at a dinner party observed a single Wild Hibiscus Flower being dropped into a glass of champagne! They stared in amazement as the flower righted itself in the bottom of the glass and slowly began to open! Needless to say that ended up one very rowdy evening!
Five years of careful development followed that fateful night and now Wild Hibiscus Flowers in Syrup have become the garnish of choice for those indulging in life’s finer moments at dinner parties, celebrations and all kind of special occasions.
