Brain Training Works

Dr Kawashima's More Brain Training is great for the whole family. It's not only educational, but motivational. There are up to 12 different activities which get more complex as you work through the daily exercises. This means that anyone from 7-107 (and quite a few people on either side of that range!) can complete the exercises.

As a postgrad student, I have noticed increased mental clarity and capacity to write after a few daily exercises - and I'm renowned for a superb lack of both on a regular basis. But I have to admit that I still struggle with the win-or-lose Rock, Paper, Scissors!

Brain Training is a fun way of extending mathematics, spelling, logic, coordination and memory skills. It's also showing great benefits to our 7 year old's handwriting, since in written exercises, it's important to start your lettering at the correct point. You can, however, set the options for left- or right-handedness.

The bonus Sudoku is great - the *easy* level comes in very handy for increasing self-esteem! There's even a hidden game that provides relaxation time after the mental wind-up of the exercises.

Only one warning: do not use if you intend trying to sleep afterwards!
