Session Length:

A 4hr booking, with between 2-3hrs on water and transfers. Not available on Public holidays.

Guidelines:

No previous sailing experience is required. Full training is given on board by a fully qualified Instructor. The treasure supplied by the client is required at time of departure. This can include bottles of champagne, chocolate gold coins, company apparrel or vouchers.

Dress Code:

Warm comfortable clothing and non-marking footwear (black soled shoes are not permitted on board). Participants are responsible for any damage sustained to their feet, if they don't wear appropriate shoes. Dress for the weather.

Other Info:

A security bond of $500 applies to all bookings (per vessel), fully refundable at the conclusion of the experience. It covers loss, theft or damage to the vessel. All yachts are in full NSW Waterways Safety Survey and our skippers/Instructors strictly comply with the manning requirements of NSW.

Numbers:

Between 7 - 15 people on board each yacht. Minimum numbers vary depending on the size of the yacht.

Product Description

The sailing treasure hunt commences and your skipper will give you the 1st envelope. Inside the envelope are clues that will lead you to a bay, a point or an island. Along with the clues is a question to which you will find the answer once in the right area.

Once you have the right answer complete your answer sheet. Your skipper will then give you the 2nd envelope. Sail to the next area to answer the question and receive the 3rd envelope. Continue to collect all 8 envelopes and you will reveal the name of the area where the finish line will be.

The first team to cross the line with all the correct answers is transferred ashore and given instructions on how to find the treasure map. Once the map is located the team then follow the instructions and begin pacing up and down the beach till X marks the spot and start digging for the treasure.

Treasure items can include a case of Bubbly, assortment of chocolates, company apparel, gift vouchers, cash, gold coins!! We use a number of 'final destinations' including Athol Bay Taronga Zoo, Sirius Beach, Clifton Gardens and Darling Harbour.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not supply the treasure. The organiser of the event is required to supply the 'treasure' for the experience. Items must be placed in a small box that can be buried. The treasure should be delivered to us on the day of the event. Special arrangements can be made for valuable treasure items.

A fully refundable, security bond covers loss, theft or damaged sustained during the booking at a cost of $500 per vessel (to be paid on the day).
