Cursed is aptly named, just look at its box office takings

I hate to say it, but Wes Craven has fallen from Grace, a fact never more fully realised than with this shallow attempt at cashing in on the young teenage audience.

Christina Ricci is the female half of a couple of siblings who are accidentally cursed to be Werewolves after a chance encounter one night. As the brother starts to use his new found abilities to stick up for himself , his sister apparently becomes hotter which is symbolised in this film by the loosening of a button on her blowse.
The torrent of cameos just makes this film tackier than it already is, with stars such as Portia de Rossi and Joshua Jackson spouting lines that would seem better suited to passions.

The only highlight of this film is reasonable special effects which are wasted by the lack of any gore whatsoever to suplement them.

Overall, watch this movies only if you like b grade horror. Don't look here for scares.
