What the?
Is the question I was asking myself only 30 seconds into this straight-to-weekly-dvd schlop from Segal...
Though a Segal movie is not usually watched for a storyline or half decent plot this beauty really does stoop to all new depths of craptacularness...it's as if half a dozen previous Segal movie scripts have all been thrown on the floor and then the actors earch just picked up a few random pages and started acting them out on the fly...nothing makes sense...characters appear and dissapear at random and the fight scenes featuring Segal are shot in near darkness and all put into 'fast forward' to make him look half decent and not as old and fat as he really is...the result though is a sped up fat guy in the darkness throwing his hands near people that fly off and crash into dusty boxes Chuck Norris styles...
The funniest part of this movie is Segals (or someone elses I should say) voice...almost every scene features the absurd mysterious voice change over sequence. One line is Segals voice, then next line is a dubbed deeper voice that sounds nothing like Segal...then it's back to his voice....then again to the mystery mans voice... This ridiculous piece of horendously crap voice editing (for some unknown purpose) makes an otherwise crap action movie into a hilarious action movie....hilraious for all the wrong reasons...
Even if you're a huge Segal fan, you'd best steer well clear of this rubbish and simply re-watch Under Siege, Out For Justice, Marked For Death etc and all the classic early 90's Segal movies where he's at his peak...nonsense like this simply doesn't need to be made and merely insults viewers and fans alike...
